Bluestone Village is a co-op of Earth stewards committed to raising families in deep connection with nature, each other, and our Place.
Rooted in nature-based learning for families, we aim to revitalize the innate human connection to nature through youth programming, community building, and sustainable living practices. We believe that fostering environmentally-minded families takes a village.

Bluestone Village brings like-minded people together; weaving community building, Earth and sustainable living skills, and nature-based education into their everyday lives. With our roots in nature-based play and learning, we believe that children thrive when a conscious community of trusted adults support their growth and foster a life-long love of learning. We equally believe that it takes a village to raise a family and adults deserve kinship and a shoulder to lean on.
Let's cultivate an ecology of care, hold each other in our vulnerabilities and successes, learn from our Place, raise wild children, and welcome everyone as they are. And let's do it all outside.

What do we do?
Youth Programming
Every child has the right to learn in, with, and about nature. We believe that nature is the ideal learning environment for children, and that children will show us what drives their passion for learning when given the chance. To honor the innate childhood (and human!) connection with nature, we Bluestone Nature Programs for Village members and the public.
Family & Community
Raising a family in the digital age is challenging and complicated. Many of us lack the village we yearn for, the village that will support and uplift us. Bluestone Village offers a safe and inclusive space for families to gather, learn, and connect. Parent circles, conscious parenting workshops, seasonal family celebrations, and open nature play days bring our community together in nature.
Regenerative Teaching Homestead
Have you ever wanted to learn timber framing? Or regenerative gardening practices? Or perhaps you would like to learn friction fire. Our expert staff, guest presenters, and talented community offer workshops year-round to help member families learn to live a more sustainable and Earth-centric lifestyle.
